Police Blotter: Speeding, Possession of Marijuana

Jermane C. Pettigrew, 34, Joliet, was arrested by Shorewood police for DWLS and issued a citation for speeding after he was pulled over for speeding on March 27, 2013. Pettigrew posted bond and was released with court information.

Andres E. Alonso, 22, Shorewood, was arrested by Shorewood police on a Will County warrant for FTA-possession of marijuana after an officer recognized him in a vehicle and had knowledge of his warrant on March 29, 2013. Alonso posted bond and was released with court information.

Blake M. Reece, 20, Crest Hill, was arrested by Shorewood police for possession of a controlled substance and issued a citation for no seat belt after officers pulled the vehicle Reece was a passenger in for Reece not wearing his seat belt on March 29, 2013. Reece was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Elia M. Garcia, 34, Naperville, was arrested by Shorewood police for no valid driver's license and issued citations for no insurance and improper use of registration after she was pulled over for no rear plate light on March 30, 2013. Garcia posted bond and was released with court information.

Huy V. Nguyen, 20, Shorewood, was arrested by Joliet police on a charge of retail theft at the Louis Joliet Mall on March 30, 2013. He was released on an I-bond.
