The Shorewood police said they assisted a process server in rounding up a local man wanted on a DuPage County warrant.
Brian Hargis, 39, was arrested at his home in the trailer park on East Jefferson Street shortly after 3 p.m.

He was taken in on a warrant charging him with contempt and booked into the Will County jail.

Hazel Baker of 201 N. Brookshore Drive was jailed on a domestic battery charge but prosecutors chose not to pursue the complaint.
Baker was released from the Will County jail the day after she was booked into custody.
There is no complaint on file at the Will County Circuit Clerk's office for Baker's case.
The Shorewood Police Department failed to provide information on why its officers chose to arrest Baker and take her to the Will County jail.
Checkpoint yourself before you wreckpoint yourself
A Mundelein man driving without a valid license was nabbed at a roadside safety checkpoint, police said.
Isidro Delatorre-Vazquez, 33, of 26265 N. Route 83 was arrested shortly after 10 p.m.
The checkpoint was at the intersection of Channahon Street and the Interstate 55 S.W. Frontage Road.
Aug. 25Wanted woman
The Shorewood cops caught up with a wanted Joliet woman when the driver of the car she was riding in was pulled over for failing to wear a seat belt, police said.
Celeste Oviedo, 28, of 658 Chase Ave. was taken into custody about 11:45 p.m. near the corner of Houbolt Road and Jefferson Street.
Oviedo was wanted on a Will County warrant charging her with driving while license suspended.
