Teen Drinker Waved His Arms in the Air; Reckless Driver Charged: Blotter

SATURDAY, NOV. 30

Drunken Driving

Benjamin T. Johnson, 26, of the 200 block of South William, Joliet, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding. Johnson was arrested at about 2:48 a.m. after his vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Jefferson and Mary streets for a speeding violation. He posted bond and was released.

Reckless Driving

Blake E. Antonides, 28, of the 25000 block of West Pauline Drive, Plainfield, was charged with reckless driving, driving without insurance, speeding and improper lane use. Antonides was arrested at about 3:32 p.m. after his vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Black Road and Route 59 for speeding. He posted bond and was released.

Property Damage

Jacob R. Gajcak, 21, of the 700 block of Dover Way, Shorewood, was charged with damaging property. Gajcak was arrested at about 4:40 p.m. in the 700 block of Dover Way after officers responded to a report of a shattered vehicle window. He posted bond and was released.

Underage Drinking

Gerardo Resendiz Jr, 18, of the 6500 block of Roth Drive, was charged with underage drinking. Resendiz was arrested at about 1:24 a.m. after officers observed him running down the sidewalk and waving his hands in the air near the intersection of Brookforest Avenue and Sunrise Drive. He posted bond and was released.

THURSDAY, NOV. 28

Aggravated Assault

Kevin A. Glover, 35, of the 1300 block of Bassett Court, Joliet, was charged with battery, aggravated assault and damaging property. Glover was arrested at about 1 a.m. after officer responded to a disturbance at The Bullpen Sports Lounge, 716 Cottage St. He posted bond and was released.

TUESDAY, NOV. 26

No Valid Registration

Michael Friscia, 24, of the 300 block of Louisa Street, Shorewood, was charged with driving without valid registration and unlawful display of a registration sticker. Friscia was arrested at about 6:11 a.m. after a random license plate check near Jefferson and Mary revealed that the plates were expired but had a current sticker. She posted bond and was released.

Warrant Arrest

Kiley L.  Allie, 34, of the 100 block of Summer, Shorewood, was arrested on an Iroquois County warrant for fraud. Allie was arrested at about 11:53 a.m. after her vehicle was stopped for a passenger seat belt violation. She was unable to post bond and was taken to Will County jail.

Intoxicating Compounds

Andrew M. Vuckovich, 29, of the 100 block of Yale Court, Shorewood, was charged with using intoxicating compounds. Vuckovich was arrested at about 6:46 p.m. after officers responded to an ambulance assist. He posted bond and was released.
