SATURDAY, OCT. 5

Retail Theft

Briana R. Stewart, 23, of the 4400 block of S. Prairie in Chicago, was charged with retail theft. Police said she took a 12-pack of Budweiser and a bottle of Jose Cuervo from Dominick’s, 950 Brookforest Ave. She posted bond and was released.

FRIDAY, OCT. 4

DUI Charge

Brandon S. Smith, 22, of the 1100 block of Wood Iris Drive in Joliet, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to yield following a traffic stop at 1:56 a.m. near Brookforest and Meadow. He posted bond and was released.

THURSDAY, OCT. 3

Residential Burglary Arrest

Justin S. Abbinante, 33, of the 1800 block of Mandan Village Drive in Plainfield, was charged with residential burglary, criminal trespass to vehicle and criminal property damage. Police were called to a home in the 1700 block of Fieldstone Drive at 3:02 a.m. Abbinante was taken to Will County Jail.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 2

Warrant Arrest

Rishawn D. House, 30, of the 1000 block of Callaway Dr. W in Shorewood, was booked on a warrant for his arrest in Will County for a previous charge of resisting arrest. He was taken to Will County Jail.
