Traffic Will be Affected by Black Road Bridge Repair Work: Police
Shorewood Police Department officials issued a reminder through their NIXLE alert system that the project begins on Thursday and will last through October.
Shorewood Police Department officials issued a traffic reminder for local residents through their NIXLE alert system on Monday morning.
Police want to remind residents of the following: "Beginning on June 27 on Black Road, the bridge over the DuPage River east on Bronk Road to the east Frontage Road of I-55 will be partially closed to two lanes."
According to the NIXLE alert, the project length is through October due to rehabilitation of the bridge.
Shorewood police suggest residents visit their Facebook page and check NIXLE for updates.
