The Shorewood Police Department denied the public’s right to know most of the details of the case when they partially responded to Patch’s Freedom Of Information Request with a mere fraction of the documents. Here’s what happened, and more, in Shorewood Rewind:

Village Attorney David Silverman, who coincidently was the Shorewood cop who processed the scene, said the department should keep mum.
