Pastor Klima Wishes All The Best To Chief Klima

Pastor Klima has good wishes and good advice for his son Aaron.

Sometimes we live our lives through our children.

If I had five dollars for every time I was going to quit the seminary and go into law or law enforcement, I would be a wealthy man today.

I am very proud of my son, the new chief of police in Shorewood.

As a proud parent, I am also aware of the strains and stresses of such a position. I wish my son well and I pray for him and the whole department daily. They have a tough job and in our present society it doesn't get any easier.

These officers have to make tough decisions that sometimes have a life or death ending.

So, son Aaron, I wish you well. I know that you are capable and prepared. Listen carefully, have compassion for all, pray often and follow the rules.

You have a very God-given opportunity of enforcing the laws of the village, state and nation. Do it fairly and justly. You stand in the line of some very good people.

I have only known Chief Latin and Chief Puleo. They are still around. Take them to breakfast and listen carefully to their advice.

Aaron, you will do well. God bless you and your department as you serve and protect us.
