Homecoming Court Announced At JCA
Shorewood's Katelyn Gannon, Carley Serena, Julia Malinowski and Brittany Bolek were named to Joliet Catholic Academy's court.
Homecoming week was in full swing at Joliet Catholic Academy, beginning with last Monday’s announcement of the Homecoming Court at the school’s fall sports assembly.
The all-senior court is:
- Isaac Grashoff of Plainfield and Katelyn Gannon of Shorewood.
- Brody Wilhelmi of Lockport and Carley Serena of Shorewood.
- Malin Jones of Naperville and Kelly Feigh of Plainfield.
- Mike McGrath of Joliet and Julia Malinowski of Shorewood.
- Adrian Nunez of Joliet and Mary Paluch of Joliet.
- Alex Rubocki of Joliet and Jillian Hickey of Oswego.
- Brett Wilson of Joliet and Brittany Bolek of Shorewood.
As part of homecoming week, JCA hosted a block party Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Meanwhile, voting for the homecoming king and queen was Thursday.

A homecoming pep rally was held in the Student Activity Center on Friday and was followed by a parade from JCA to Joliet Memorial Stadium.
Faculty members Amy Douglas, Staci Gue, Celeste Mackey, Tina Osburn, Barbara Powers, Christine Scheibe and Debra Witmer also took part in the hair-and-makeup makeover.
