Listen for the Boom at Minooka Teen Music Fest

Minooka Community High School's percussion team will play host to the Minooka Teen Music Fest on Thursday, June 20.

No, it's not the Lovebirds.

Still, it's a safe to say, "The Beat Goes Boom" at the upcoming Minooka Teen Music Fest.

The event will run from 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at Minooka Community High School, according to a post on the school's website, and will feature all types of music, artists and ensembles (ages 14-20). To inquire about performing, send an email to minookateenmusicfest@gmail.com.

There is a $3 cover fee per attendee, a $10 entry fee for the solo artist contest (with a prize of $100) and a $30 entry fee for the group contest (with a prize of $150), according the MCHS website.
