Shorewood Chamber Welcomes Plainfield Business

The Goddard School, a new member of the Area Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the community to its ribbon-cutting Ceremony Tuesday.

Members of the Shorewood Chamber were on hand to support Karen and Rundy Wells, the owners of the Goddard School. The new school is at 5005 Theodore St. in Plainfield.

The Goddard School also made a generous charitable gift to fellow chamber member Shorewood H.U.G.S.

Denise Schmidt, the Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce Board Chair and owner of the Romance Travel Shop, attended the event with many other chamber members.

“Karen and Rundy Wells not only care for our children, they care for our community," Schmidt said. "Their generosity and commitment to children makes The Goddard School a wonderful addition to the Chamber.”
