Ticket, Reception Info For JCA Football

Tickets for the Joliet Catholic Academy football team will be sold today in the main office and a reception, win or lose, will be held Saturday in the Student Activity Center at 4 p.m.

Tickets for the Class 5A state championship football game between Joliet Catholic Academy (11-2) and two-time defending state champ Montini (11-2) will be on sale in JCA’s main office on today from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.

JCA does not have school on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday due to the holiday.

Tickets are $10. Each fan, regardless of age, must have a ticket to attend the game, according to the IHSA. Kickoff for the Saturday game will be at 10 a.m. at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, on the campus of the University of Illinois.

A postgame celebratory reception for the JCA football team will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday in the Student Activity Center. Afterward, fans are encouraged to go to Traditions Restaurant, 3000 W. Jefferson Street, for pizza.
