Election 2011: Troy School Board Candidates Toot Their Horns

Find out why these candidates think they deserve your vote.

Finding people willing to serve on Troy Community Consolidated School District 30-C's Board of Education has not been difficult.

Three seats are up for grabs this election. The tough part for voters is choosing among the seven candidates running for election to the three seats. 

In total, the board consists of seven members. Their four-year terms overlap. Incumbent Eileen Roche-Kopchak is not seeking another term.

On the ballot April 5 are incumbents Board Vice President and Board Member . The challengers are , , and John "Stretch" Stefanski. is a write-in candidate.

All seven were invited to answer questions outlining why they should be elected. Stefanski did not respond to requests for information. Feel free to comment on their posts.
