High School Football: JCA Puts Title Hopes on Line vs. Notre Dame
Friday night's battle will go a long way toward determining the outcome of the East Suburban Catholic Conference race.
With two regular season games remaining, Joliet Catholic Academy continues to battle for another football conference championship and a top seed in the IHSA playoffs.
The Hilltoppers (6-1, 3-1) face Niles Notre Dame (6-1, 3-1) on Friday night in a battle between two of three teams tied for the East Suburban Catholic Conference lead. Benet Academy also is 3-1 heading into a showdown with Marist.
JCA, which has outscored its opponents 275-125, is coming off a 37-14 victory over Carmel. Notre Dame took down Marist 45-35.
