Country Singer Hunter Hayes Set for Taste

The singer-songwriter is to headline Taste of Joliet's June 29 show, which will feature a lineup of young country music performers.

Hunter Hayes will be the headlining star the second night of Taste of Joliet, the fourth in a lineup of young country stars who will take the stage at Joliet Memorial Stadium June 29.

The Joliet Park District announced the addition of the 21-year-old singer-songerwriter, whose debut album spawned three hits, including the No. 1 Wanted, Tuesday morning. He will perform at 9 p.m.

Previously announced are Maggie Rose, who takes the stage at 4:30 p.m., Dustin Lynch at 5:30 p.m. and Easton Corbin at 7:15 p.m.

On June 28, the opening night of Taste, the musical acts scheduled to perform are Arra at 5 p.m., 7th Heaven at 6 p.m. and REO Speedwagon at 9 p.m. REO was last year's headliner as well, but the band's performance was stopped early after a violent storm moved through the area.
