Petco Meet and Greet For the Dogs

The Will County Humane Society will showcase some of their dogs on Saturday at the Romeoville Petco.

Representatives from the Shorewood no-kill shelter will be bringing over an as yet to be determined number of dogs for the public to meet and hopefully fall in love with.

Last weekend, the Will County Humane Society took three canines -- Goofy, Miles and Schnapps -- to the PetSmart on Plainfield Road in Joliet. The event was a great success.

Humane society representatives will also have on hand pictures of other shelter
animals. Anyone interested in either the dogs present for the event or any of the dogs or cats in the pictures will be able to fill out a pre-screening form on
whichever animal they so choose. That form will place a hold on the animal in question.

The event at the 369 S. Weber Road pet store will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The Romeoville Petco offers a wide variety of pets and pet products, as well as full-service grooming, dog training, pet photography, and an aquatics department.
