Troy Township

The Troy Township office is a government entity with jurisdiction over all of Shorewood and portions of Joliet, Crest Hill, Rock Dale and Channahon. Township government has three functions: The township supervisor oversees the general assistance workfare program. The highway department maintains roads in unincorporated areas of the township. And the assessor assigns monetary values to real estate for property taxing purposes.
