Joe Hosey is going to be in the dunk tank at the Shorewood Crossroads Festival at 2 p.m. Sunday. Stop by Four Seasons Park and put Joe Hosey in the water. It's not just fun, but it's also for a good cause.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Kiwanis Club charity dunk tank during Shorewood Crossroads Festival.

If you missed the Shorewood Crossroads Festival last week, it's your loss. Whether it was through some fault of your own or not, you will never experience the sheer ecstasy of Shorewood Crossroads 2011. And by "sheer ecstasy" we mean unmitigated fun, and not some illicit substance the kids today take before they run around with glow sticks and pacifiers. Or maybe we mean that too. We can't be held accountable for what everyone was up to at the festival. But by and large the Shorewood Crossroads Festival was law-abiding and wonderful, and it's too bad for you if you weren't there. Just try to make it next year, because it was a great time. Big Shot Actor Playing Joe Hosey in Hollywood Movie Too Cool to be Friends With Joe Hosey on Facebook

Also, I'm going to be in a charity dunk tank on Saturday.

It was very exciting to find out that they weren't just making a movie out of my book Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives of Sergeant Drew Peterson, which is still available for purchase in hardcover, but then it came out that Rob Lowe was cast in the starring role. That was pretty unbelievable. A big star like Rob Lowe in the movie they were making out of my book. Who would have thought? And then I found out that I was going to be a character in the film. That's right — there's going to be a character named "Joe Hosey" in the movie. I was thrilled when I heard that was actually going to happen. So thrilled, in fact, that I sent a Facebook friend request out to the guy who is going to be playing Joe Hosey in the movie. His name is Charlie Koznick…
