Although career day at Holy Family Catholic School in Shorewood isn’t scheduled until April 16, the fourth grade class already enjoyed a unique opportunity to learn about the career of school dad and Holy Family alum, Brian Bertino, on a recent visit to his workplace. The class traveled to Chicago’s NBC Channel 5 Studios where Betino works as the technical director for the morning news. While split into small groups, the students rotated between the control room, the weather office, and the Channel 5 news studio.
