Joliet Man Stuck, Killed by Freight Train Monday
The victim has been identified by the Will County Coroner's Office as Kirk Adams, but no other details were available Monday night.
A Joliet man was killed Monday afternoon after being struck by a freight train, according to the Will County Coroner's Office. The accident occurred at about 3:25 p.m. near the intersection of Rowell Avenue and Manhattan Road in Joliet Township, a coroner's office statement said. The victim was identified as Kirk D. Adams, but no information on his age, address or the circumstances of the incident were available.
