Lifetime posted huge numbers in the first quarter of 2012, and the Drew Peterson movie was a big reason, according to television website TheFutonCritc.com

Last week started out big.
The Giants are going to the Super Bowl! They made it, even though the last step before the big game was a tough fight with the 49ers. It went to overtime, and Kenny Williams' kid gave the Giants the break they needed with his second fumble. And now New York's got the Patriots again. You couldn't ask for a more anticipated match-up. What impact will "Drew Peterson: Untouchable" have on the accused wife-killer's criminal case?
The eagerly anticipated world premiere of Drew Peterson: Untouchable has come and gone. The country sat rapt for two hours while this dramatic masterpiece unwound on television screens everywhere. It was marvelous. But now what? Well for one thing, the lawyer who goes around telling everyone he's the "lead attorney" on Drew Peterson's defense team has taken a page out of the CBS news playbook, according to the Chicago Tribune, and plans to ask for Peterson's murder trial to be moved out of Will County. You can't touch us.
As usual, tons of amazing things went down in Shorewood last week. But one amazing thing overshadowed them all. That one thing, of course, was the world premiere of Drew Peterson: Untouchable. It was really something to behold. The movie debuted last night and it was incredible. There's nothing really else to say about it, but that's not going to stop us from saying some more anyway. So we're going to do just that. Let's start by looking at last week with another SHOREWOOD REWIND: Shorewood Patch movie critic Dave Wilson reviewed Drew Peterson: Untouchable. The Daily interviewed director Mikael Salomon about the making of the movie based on the book "Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives of Sergeant Drew Peterson."
The Daily sat down with Mikael Salomon, the director of Drew Peterson: Untouchable and got his take on the making of the movie, along with his thoughts on Mr. Untouchable himself. "I thought, 'What a creep this guy is,'” Salomon said in The Daily interview. "You know how it is, in your private life, you make your own judgment, which of course you can’t in a medium without getting in trouble." CBS reported that Saturday night's world premiere of "Drew Peterson: Untouchable" may force the upcoming murder trial to hit the road. Or something.
CBS reporter Mike Puccinelli broke a story speculating that the new Lifetime movie Drew Peterson: Untouchable just might give the accused wife-killer's lawyers the leverage they need to haul Peterson's murder trial out of Will County and over to some venue without access to even basic cable packages. Puccinelli even got CBS legal analyst Irv Miller to confirm that yes, Drew Peterson: Untouchable could be the moving truck that will carry the Peterson trial out of Joliet and deliver it to a jury in a land without televisions. According to the CBS report, Miller "says the release of the film will poison the jury pool and possibly give the defense attorneys grounds to ask that the trial be moved." Rob Lowe, the star of Drew Peterson: Untouchable, has tweeted that Peyton Manning's calling it quits. Here's Lowe's tweet: "Hearing my fave, #18 Peyton Manning will not return to #NFL.
