Reckless Homicide Charges for Coal City Woman in Route 6 Channahon Accident

A Coal City woman was charged with reckless homicide in connection with a fatal wreck on Route 6. Tiffany Unland, 30, of 190 E. Timber Drive was arrested and jailed following the fatal car crash in Channahon Friday. Unland was injured in the accident and was taken to a local hospital, but the injuries were non-life threatening. Unland was booked into the Will County jail and remains in custoday. She is being held on a $20,000 bond. Unland has additonal charging pending the review and approval of the Will County State's Attorney's Office. Jail records include charges of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence, the illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane use.
