Carlton Fisk Lawyer Wants Judge to Strike Out DUI Evidence

The lawyer for White Sox legend Carlton Fisk filed motions to have evidence thrown out in the Hall of Famer's drunken driving case.

The lawyer for White Sox immortal Carlton Fisk is fighting to get the Hall of Famer's driver's license back and to have evidence ejected from his drunken driving case. Fisk, 64, lost his license when he allegedly refused to take a breathalyzer test during his arrest Oct. 22 on charges of driving under the influence, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol. Cops Seek Man in Abe Street Knife Attack

Joliet police believe they have identified the suspect behind a Monday morning stabbing, which stemmed from a domestic dispute.

Joliet detectives believe they know the identity of the man who critically wounded another man during a knife attack earlier this week. The 28-year-old victim was stabbed in his Abe Street home shortly after 8 a.m. Monday, police said. He remains at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, where police said he is in critical condition. The stabbing followed an altercation in the street, Joliet police Cmdr. Brian Benton said. The scuffle outside was a domestic disturbance that escalated and moved from the street to inside the man's home, Benton said. Benton declined to identify the alleged stabber but said detectives have figured out who he is and that the law was looking for him.
