Fountain of Emotion at Veteran's Park Dedication

At a ceremony to dedicate Shorewood’s new Veteran’s Memorial Park, Lauren Morman sang the National Anthem and God Bless America.

Later, mayor Rick Chapman turned the park over to local residents. And he turned on the memorial fountain to mark the occasion, a big crowd bursting into a round of applause as the waters were illuminated in red, white and blue colors.

Patch was on hand to capture some video highlights at the ceremony in Shorewood’s Towne Center. This is the final installment in a four-part series looking at the dedication of Shorewood’s new Veteran’s Memorial Park.
