Shorewood Mayor: 'Today, We Gather to Remember'

During a Memorial Day celebration, Shorewood mayor Rick Chapman said, “Today, we gather to remember.”
The Rev. George A. Klima said, “Freedom is not free. It takes work. And you have done that work. And we thank you.”
The two delivered their remarks at a ceremony to dedicate the new Veteran’s Memorial Park at Shorewood’s Towne Center. A large crowd turned out for the event, including a number of local veterans.
