New Dentist in Shorewood

Dr. Mike Lakota has a successful practice going in Naperville but for a while now had his eye on something a little closer to home.

"I saw a spot open up and I said, 'Why not?'" said the Joliet native who has lived with his family in for more than nine years.

Lakota grabbed that spot he saw open up and has transformed into his Shorewood office. His new place is on Route 59 near .

The bright office has an abundance of natural light and boasts state-of-the-art equipment.

"Everything is digital," Lakota said, right down to the cable televisions patients get to watch.

Lakota plans to spend three or four days a week in the Shorewood office, which opened last week, and will be putting in the rest of his time at Ogden Dental in Naperville.

"I'll be alternating between the two offices," he said.
