Drew Peterson Pic Fuels Lifetime Surge, Says The Futon Critic

Lifetime posted huge numbers in the first quarter of 2012, and the Drew Peterson movie was a big reason, according to television website TheFutonCritc.com

Drew Peterson: Untouchable, the smash-hit movie based on the critically acclaimed true crime sensation Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives of Sergeant Drew Peterson, by (me), was a driving force in the Lifetime network's incredibly strong showing in the first quarter of 2012, says the website TheFutonCritic.com.

TheFutonCritic said Lifetime "posted major growth in viewership among the key demographics in First Quarter 2012 versus First Quarter 2011," and pointed to Drew Peterson: Untouchable as a big reason:

"Lifetime was the quarter's #1 basic cable network for movies among Women 25-54 and Women 18+ across total day and the debut of Drew Peterson: Untouchable, starring Rob Lowe, was the #1 movie telecast across basic cable among Total Viewers, Adults 18+, Women 18+, Adults 25-54, Women 25-54, Adults 18-49 and Women 18-49."

The production schedule for the sequel, Untouchable Too, has yet to be announced.

Good job, Joe. I certainly enjoyed it - more than once.
Prolifer March 29, 2012 at 04:00 PM
The book and movie were nothing to brag about. I'd rather watch the paint dry on a wall.
Woodridge Wife March 29, 2012 at 04:57 PM
Critically acclaimed true crime novel? Hardly. A book full of premature judgement and half truths? Yes. The movie was awful. Getting my wisdom teeth pulled was less painful.
Prolifer March 29, 2012 at 05:04 PM
Woodridge Wife how true.

Loved the movie. Very interesting and entertaining at the same time.

I liked the movie and read the book after seeing the movie. Joe did a nice job.

Woodridge Wife must be one of Drew's girlfriends. Are you guys pen pals now that he's in the clink? Maybe it hurts you and Prolifer too much to watch and read about reality, since you two are so enamored with Drew Peterson. Gross.

Freddie aren't Woodridge Wife and Prolifer entitled to their opinoins about the movie or the book!
