A man from Menomonee Falls, WI, was jailed after a traffic stop in .

Kurt Pinkalla, 51, was taken into custody shortly after 8 p.m. near the intersection of Route 52 and Interstate 55.

The car Pinkalla was riding in was pulled over for a seat belt violation, said, and Pinkalla was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pinkalla was transported to the Will County jail but was released the next day after posting a $100 bond.

According to Wikipedia, baseball immortal Bob Uecker is either a native or notable resident of Menomonee Falls. Pinkalla was not included on the Wikipedia list.

Seat belt bust

A Plainfield man driving around Shorewood without wearing his seat belt turned out to have a suspended license, police said.

David Corona, 21, of 1650 Quinn Drive was arrested about 3 p.m. near the intersection of Black and Bronk roads.

Corona was released from custody after posting bond.
