Seat belt blues

A wanted Plainfield woman was pulled over for failing to wear her seat belt and was then arrested on a Kendall County warrant, said.

Khara Uczen, 35, of 2828 Sun Valley Drive was stopped about 9:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Brookforest Avenue.

Uczen was taken into custody on a warrant charging her with traffic violations.

She was released after posting bond.

Drunken driving arrest

A Plainfield man drove erratically through and turned out to be drunk, police said.

Daniel Chavez, 48, of 6300 Black Hill Ridge Drive was arrested about 10 p.m. near the intersection of River Road and Route 52. He was charged with driving under the influence, failing to secure a child, a turn signal violation, improper lane usage, and driving with an obstructed windshield.

Chavez posted bond and was released from custody.
