Village Board Does Not Have Much Planned

The village board does not appear to have a big night in store for itself.

The village board only meets every other week, but even after having the last 14 days off, they didn't find much to do during tonight's meeting.

A lean agenda should mean a short meeting tonight, unless a scheduled executive session to address an unspecified "probable litigation" runs long.

But prior to the closed-door powwow, nothing much of note is expected to occur tonight.

The board likely will vote to pay $29,806 for seven electric street signs. The signs, which were priced at $4,258 each, will be installed at Black Road and Route 59 and Vertin Boulevard and Route 59.

Also tonight, police Chief Robert Puleo will ask the board for approval to sell off a vehicle his department seized following an arrest for driving under the influence.
