Were You With The Band?

If you're an old hand from the Joliet High School band, they're looking for you.

If you tooted a horn or marched in a parade in the past century for Joliet Township High School District, the band alumni association wants to hear your stories and memories.

To honor the band’s 100th anniversary, The Joliet Township High School Band Alumni Association is producing a souvenir program that will be distributed at its 3 p.m. July 29th centennial concert in the auditorium at Joliet Central High School, 201 E. Jefferson St., Joliet.

“We want to get memories not only from students who played for Joliet Central, but for Joliet West and Joliet East high schools. Those students are an important part of our history and their stories need to be included,” said board President Brad Uffelmann.
